He is also the Lord for Shiva who consumed the poison that came out of the milky ocean when it was churned.

The sweet Lord residing on the hill of Kadigai (and also in Kannapuram) is the transcendant one; He is verily the expanse of light in the form of Vedas, dispelling darkness from our hearts; and He is the Lord in my own heart; He shines as a resplendant golden mountain and is celebrated by one and all for His auspicious qualities; Benevolent and full of grace, He is cherished like a sweet fruit by His devotees. Having attained Him, my life has been saved (from worldly desires and worries).

'In the town of Nangai, famous for white colored skyscrapper mansions, my Lord of Lotus Dame !' -- So sings my tender daughter, through her lips of coral hue, on the Lord of Paarththan-Palli. (Rutted elephant refers to the elephant, Kuvalayapeedam, sent by Kamsa to kill Krishna.)
Thirumangai Azhwar imagines himself as both the mother and the devotional daughter in this pasuram.
